Activate Simply Easier Payments in the Hawksoft Marketplace

Step 1: Authorize in HawkSoft

1. Launch HawkSoft
2. Open the Setup menu (gear icon in the top right)
3. Select Marketplace
4. Locate “Simply Easier Payments.” Scroll, or press Ctrl + F and search for Simply Easier Payments
5. Review and check the consent box for the Terms and Conditions.
6. Click “Share Data”

Note: Subscribing to the Marketplace listing authorizes Simply Easier Payments (SEP) to use HawkSoft’s API for writebacks to your AMS (log notes, file attachments, tasks, and payment receipts)

What to expect

After you select “Share Data,” HawkSoft processes the connection. This typically takes about 24 hours.

Step 2: Activate in SEP (Account tab)

1. Log in to SEP with a Full Manager or Admin level user
2. Go to the Account tab
3. Under Integrations, click HawkSoft Setup
4. Enter your Agency Number (found at the top of your HawkSoft login box)
5. Toggle HawkSoft Lookup On
6. Click Save

Step 3: Configure your SEP settings

As part of activation in SEP, you can configure your preferences under the SEP Account tab. You can adjust these anytime:

• Cash receipts
• PDF Upload for Completed Premium Finance Agreements processed through the SEP down payment portal
• Credit invoice presentation
• Partial payments

Please consider: Be deliberate when enabling Credit Invoice Presentation or Partial Payments. In many flows, credits may not be owed to the insured, and full payment (down payment or PIF) is usually required.

Troubleshooting Tips:

• Don’t see the HawkSoft options under the SEP Account tab? Confirm you are signed in as a user with full access to the Account tab.
• It has been more than 24 hours since clicking Share Data: In rare cases, HawkSoft may take longer. If invoices are still not appearing in SEP, contact SEP Support.
• Cannot find your agency number? Check the top of your HawkSoft login box. If still unclear, your HawkSoft account manager can provide it.
